The Yoga Alliance is an internationally recognized organization that offers registration codes for yoga teachers to become certified. This 200-hour course will provide you with all of the benefits, information and resources needed throughout your training as well has post graduate level support after completion. The Yoga Alliance Professionals is based in the UK and through them, students will be provided with free insurance while you are training, compliments of INessentia.

This residential course will take place in Coniston, the Lake District, to provide you with an exceptional experience during your teacher training. It is most likely you will find this course as a treasured memorable and life changing one.

This Yoga Teacher Training course will provide you with a firm foundation and be the springboard into your yoga teaching career.
An overview of the training includes Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, History of Yoga, Mantras, Mudras, Yoga Nidra, Philosophy of Yoga, Ethics, Teaching Methodology, Professional Development, Practicum (Practice teaching).

On successful graduation of this course, you will attain a 200-hour Diploma in Teaching Yoga from Inessentia, and be eligible for entry to the International Yoga Alliance RT200. The majority of the training will be in-person, with some hours online.

What is included in the cost: All tuition, assessment, course manual, student support and certificate.

What is not included in the cost: Transport to and from the venue, accommodation and board on residential stays, and textbooks.
The total additional cost for the full-board residential stays is
£800 per person and is paid separately to Inessentia of The Holistic Coach House. This payment is due by January 20th, 2024.

Important notes on accommodation and meals
Rooms on this retreat are shared by 2 people (if 3 people want to share this is also available on request). Bathrooms are also shared between 2/3 people.
​
It may be that you are given a private room- there is no change in price for shared or not shared.
​
Meals on this retreat will be vegetarian, and if you have a vegan diet we can certainly accommodate this.
​

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training - FAQ's

I am quite new to yoga, can I still do the course?
​
We would recommend you have approximately one year practicing in yoga classes as this will help with your ability to teach.
​
I am not thinking of teaching yoga. I am interested in taking the course just to learn more about yoga. Is this OK?

Absolutely! You do not have to be planning on teaching yoga to attend this course. Your are welcome to enrol on the course simply to deepen your practice and learn more about yoga.

What is 200 hour yoga teacher training?
​
Our 200 hour yoga teacher training is a complete training course which ensures you are a fully certified & qualified yoga teacher in the UK. It includes all key aspects of teaching yoga & becoming a yoga teacher.

Can you be too old to become a yoga teacher?
​
The simple answer is no. You will find yoga can be beneficial to anyone and different ages, abilities & reasons for partaking in yoga will decide your own teaching style.

'This course is for anyone who has developed a yoga practice and has the desire to deepen their knowledge of yoga and / or has the aspiration to teach yoga to others.
Inessentia endeavours to make yoga accessible to all'.
Refund policy:
Upon acceptance into the program, the applicant must pay a deposit of £300 to hold applicant’s place in the program. If applicant cancels thirty (30) days or more before the start of the program, the applicant will forfeit £50 of the deposit and the remaining balance will be refunded. If applicant cancels 14-30 days before the start of the program, the applicant will forfeit 50% of the deposit and the remaining balance will be refunded. The program tuition fees are non-refundable. If a student must withdraw from the program for special circumstances, the program may give a partial refund to the student in the exercise of its discretion. The program will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. The program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.
